This album cover started in Owen’s apartment in Toronto, on a shoot initially intended to yield headshots and press photos. None of the shots worked, but an outtake was kept and used to create the cover art. The raw image was turned into a negative and printed in a darkroom. The print was then photographed with a medium-format Hasselblad (last photo) and finally went through a collodion wet plate process.
Notre séance photo dans son appartement à Toronto tombe à l’eau. Aucune des photos promotionnelles n’a le « Look » qu’on recherche. Heureusement, une photo a été conservée et utilisée pour créer l’art de cette pochette. L’image brute a été transformée dans un négatif photo et imprimé dans une chambre noire. L’impression a ensuite été photographiée avec un Hasselblad format moyen et encore re-photographié avec le processus de de collodion humide.
